CAP is a transfer platform at the Department of Physics of University of Konstanz. It serves two central goals:
- direct transfer of optical technologies from fundamental research into high-tech industry
- training of highly qualified individuals for the photonics sector and mentoring of young leaders in academia
Our expertise focusses on the following areas:
- femtosecond lasers and frequency combs
- infrared and terahertz technologies
- nanophotonics, semiconductor and magneto optics
- quantum phenomena at elementary scales of time and space
