CAP is a transfer platform at the Department of Physics of University of Konstanz. It serves two central goals:

  • direct transfer of optical technologies from fundamental research into high-tech industry
  • training of highly qualified individuals for the photonics sector and mentoring of young leaders in academia

Our expertise focusses on the following areas:

  • femtosecond lasers and frequency combs
  • infrared and terahertz technologies
  • nanophotonics, semiconductor and magneto optics
  • quantum phenomena at elementary scales of time and space
