Study Commission

The task of the Study Commission is, generally speaking, the development and quality control of study in the department. Its members do the following:

  1. Compile suggestions for new study- and examination regulations for the department’s study programmes,
  2. Determine whether, in all degree programmes, a correct range of courses are guaranteed,
  3. Appoint the Examination Board (StPA) responsible for the study programmes of the department, 
  4. Regularly compile a report on the development of teaching, studies and examinations,
  5. Participate in the evaluation and improvement of teaching and studies (e.g. evaluation of the teachers by the students).

Its representatives include professors, academic staff and students.
